It is essential that you are able to work well with others in a small team environment with the ability to remain productive at all times and work responsibly with or without direct supervision.
 

Engineering - Applications Programmer
Primary responsibility will be to develop PHP/MySQL-driven web-based applications to support both internal requirements and customer facing requirements for management of various platforms and systems.  You will also assist in other areas of the Engineering Department, such as systems administration and problem solving.

Skilled experience in web application development using PHP5, Linux, Apache, MySQL, along with basic networking knowledge (routing, switching and OSI model) is required.  Understanding of Asterisk, Cisco IOS, HP Blade Servers and Systems Integration (using PHP & XML) along with the ability to learn quickly with a thirst for technical knowledge is also very desirable.
 

Project Manager
Our Project Managers are responsible for implementing orders received from new and existing customers.  Working with the Account Managers, Engineering, Sales and Support Teams, you will plan and manage the implementation process for each new service, identifying required resources, following up with clients and suppliers and reporting progress to managers.

You will have excellent organisational and communication skills.  Good knowledge and/or a keen interest in IT would be very beneficial.
 

Customer Service Manager
Gage Networks operates a 24 x7 Service Desk with customers throughout the world.  Based in our Oakham office the Customer Service Manager will be responsible for effective management of customer issues through to successful resolution.  Leading the Customer Service team you will analyse problems to understand their root cause, prioritising resolution with Engineering.  Pro-active management of ongoing problems together with clear communication both internally and with customers is critical for success in this role. 

The position requires an experienced manager with outstanding communication skills, the ability to quickly absorb new technology concepts as well as prioritising workloads whilst working under pressure.  Energy and enthusiasm are also essential.
 

Service Manager
As a Service Manager you will be part of the 24 hour Service Desk Team, ensuring customer issues are resolved quickly and providing pro-active support to pre-empt service requests by managing tickets, change requests and planned maintenance notifications submitted by email or telephone. 

In addition you will help document and communicate Service Desk processes, write incident reports and customer notifications.  Good problem solving and interpersonal skills are essential.
 

Account Manager
We are looking for confident account managers to support and build relationships with our existing customers through face-to-face meetings and over the telephone.  Managing a portfolio of accounts and working with our Technical Sales staff, Engineering and Support teams, you will be responsible for supporting and up-selling to customers.

A professional telephone manner and confident presentation skills are essential.  Good knowledge and/or a keen interest in IT would be very beneficial.
 

Sales Executive
Ambitious, target-driven individuals are required to join our Sales Team to generate new business and leads through cold-calling, web conferences and face-to-face meetings.  Reporting to the Sales Director, you will identify potential customers and business opportunities.

Excellent communication skills and a passion for selling are crucial to be successful in this to role.  IT experience is not essential, but this role will be well suited to an individual with a background in traditional voice who is now looking to move into the world of Hosted Cloud Solutions.
