Gage Networks Cloud Communications Seminar Report

The Cloud Communications Seminar, led by Gage Networks and sponsored by their partners Polycom and Cable&Wireless Worldwide, was well-received by attendees from a number of UK companies yesterday (Wednesday 29 June 2011).

Held at Polycom's Executive Briefing Centre in London, the event offered 22 industry insights to deliver expert IP Communications across a private cloud through short, effective presentations exploring topics such as; Public vs Private Cloud, Managing the Application Flood, The Cloud Inherently Enables Business Continuity, International Call Centre and The Important of Visibility and Reporting.

Gage Networks demonstrated a number of their IP Telephony, Hosted Call Centre and Video Conferencing solutions, including HD Voice, skills based routing, on-phone applications, call centre call monitoring and recording, and the simplicity of making a video call.

Speakers were Polycom's VP EMEA Advanced Technology Group Glynn Jones, Cable&Wireless Worldwide's Director of Partners Pete Tomlinson, and from Gage Networks, CEO Andrew Davis, COO David Kennedy, Sales Director Lisa Healey and Marketing Director Natalie Stewart. Key moments were tweeted live on the Gage Networks Twitter account @gagenetworks.

Following the seminar attendees were invited to experience Polycom's immersive telepresence solutions, including the Open Telepresence Experience™ (OTX™) and RealPresence™ Experience (RPX™).
