Multi-Party Video Bridge improves video conferencing user experience

The new Gage Networks Multi-Party Video Bridge has fast become a vital tool for our video conferencing and telepresence customers, enabling them to easily start, join and manage internal and external video calls with multiple participants.

Integrated with the Gage Networks Cloud Communications Platform, the video bridge is hosted on a suite of fully managed Polycom RMX 2000 devices with Distributed Media Applications ensuring reliability and the highest quality conferencing service.

The Multi-Party Video Bridge is easily accessed from all customer equipment including the Polycom HDX Series (HDX 7000 and HDX 8000), desktop devices such as the Polycom HDX 4500 and VVX 1500, and from mobile devices using Polycom RealPresence Mobile. Third party video conferencing devices access the service quickly and securely with a conference ID and password.

The video bridge extends the use of customers' video conferencing solutions as more participants can be welcomed into virtual meetings, joining together geographically dispersed employees or connecting with suppliers and customers worldwide. Calls with many particpants are easier to manage through the video bridge as no single unit is responsible for placing and receiving calls – participants simply dial into the video bridge when they're ready.
